If you have never owned a belt sander now is the time to start to think about it. I have always owned an orbital one and it would a sufficient job for the thirty or so dollars that I had spent at Sears. But, not they have force me to go out and purchase a belt sander because even though they have other ones on the shelf at the store this was the only one that they had in stock.
There is nothing wrong with the orbital ones but when you are forced to purchase something that you did not go out to look for, you can be a little apprehensive about that product. This one was not bad for the price of eighty dollars plus tax, and after that you will have to purchase some extra sandpaper bands for your new sander, because the sandpaper that you normally use will no longer be useful to you on your new sander. So the total price for my new sander and paper bands was about $107 including tax.
This particular model is a little bit different than the other belt sanders, because it has a low profile ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
