How Do You Use A Water Bong?

Fill your bong with cold water. Cold water will cool down the smoke so that more can be inhaled. Some users prefer filling their bong with ice, and then adding just enough cold water so that the bong makes a bubbling sound when inhaled through.

Some users prefer very hot water because the steam helps bring moisture into the lungs. The drying effect of smoke, not the heat of the smoke, is the main reason people cough while using a water bong. • Check your water levels!

Make sure that the water isn't up too high. It should be low enough so that it doesn't spill out the carb as you bend down to take a hit. And it should be deep enough to fuller cleanse the smoke, at least 3 inch's above the bottom of your slider should do.

• Pack your bowl. Make sure it's not so full that your smoking material will fall out of your bowl. Usually, you should pack your material to a medium-tight consistency.

You want to get as much material in your bowl as possible while still being able to pull air ... more.
