In the first paragraph of the persuasive paper, state your point of view. In paragraphs 2-5, you will write your supporting arguments and the evidence to back it up. Conclude your speech by restating your position.

In the first paragraph, you need to let the audience know what you are trying to persuade them about and why. The paragraphs to follow will give your evidence as to why you are trying to persuade them. In the conclusion, sum up your points again.

Make sure to do any needed research.
