How does a boa constrictors protect itself?

The Boa if threatened will lash out and bite and constrict. I have several species and once my cat got into the cage and the Boa struck at the cat with so much force it knocked the cat backwards. But the dumb cat didn't learn and went after the snake again.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
