How does bay of bengal affect monsoon in west India(guj, Maharashtra)?

The cyclones that form over the Bay of Bengal sometimes travel across the southern peninsula(South India), initially weaken as low pressure areas (when they are over the land) and subsequently strengthen after emerging over the Arabian sea. These may again intensify into cyclonic storms and affect the west coast of india. Most of these storms in Arabian sea move in west-north-westerly direction towards Arabian coast in the Month of May and in a northerly direction towards the Gujarat coast in the month of URL1 June only, the south-west monsoon begins in India. In other months, the storms generally move north-west-north and then re curve north-east affecting Gujarat and Maharashtra coast.

A few however move west-north-westwards towards Arabian coast. In this way the storms which originate over the Bay of Bengal may affect the Gujarat and Maharashtra coast. Very rarely a low pressure area over the bay of Bengal induces a similar low pressure area over the Arabian sea which may also affect ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
