How does Choose Renewables, LLC, verify our RECs?

Choose Renewables, LLC only sells Green-e Energy certified RECs. Green-e is the nations leading independent renewable energy certification and verification program. In addition, Choose Renewables, LLC makes the following commitments: Choose Renewables, LLC agrees to purchase and retire Green-e Energy certified renewable energy certificates on your behalf.

Each certificate will be retired once and only once. The RECs you purchase will be generated in the calendar year of your purchase, the first three months of the following calendar year, or the last 6 months of the prior calendar year. Choose Renewables, LLC agrees to obtain and maintain information necessary to substantiate our purchase and retirement of RECs on your behalf.
