How does Cochrane keep abreast of new and emerging research?

A. The Cochrane Collaboration is committed to providing the most reliable evidence of the effectiveness of health care through systematic reviews of RCTs, and recognizes the importance of prospectively registering trials to ensure that the evidence assessed is complete and unbiased. Many clinical trials, especially those with negative or inconclusive results, may fail to be published in medical journals.

This risks the unethical use of healthcare resources and participants in trials. To prevent this, ethics committees should promote prospective registration of clinical trials and thus ensure that trial results can subsequently become publicly available. You may download the full Cochrane statement on prospective registration of clinical trials.

The CBRG would like to know of new research in our field. If you are involved in back research, please send your name, contact information, and a brief description of your trial to Vicki Pennick at cochrane@iwh.on.ca. Top Q.

The two scales ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
