How does FontForge convert a quadratic spline into a cubic (when reading truetype)?

This is easy since any quadratic spline can already be represented as a cubic, it will just happen that the cubic term is always 0. Probably the control points will no longer be at integral coordinates and there will be some loss of precision when they are saved in a cubic format. More.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
