How does the ACS BSCN relate to the SRC, NIH, SAGES, the NIDDK LABS Consortium, and other entities?

The ACS is a not-for-profit, independent entity that was founded in 1913. It is the largest organization of surgeons in the world. Although we collaborate with, and are informed by groups such as the NIH, we are an independent body.

We are grateful for the guidance and encouragement we have received from these organizations, which greatly inform the development of our standards and guidelines. Many Fellows of the American College of Surgeons serve on these organizations’ workgroups and ad hoc committees. More.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
