How does the alphabet grading system work for school in the USA?

If someone made a reference about atheists knowing how to spell and christians not knowing how to spell, it was just an insult. It means nothing. Often in the Religion and Spirituality category, Atheists will say that the only reason Christians believe in God is because they are stupid and uneducated; obviously it's untrue and just simple banter...not to be taken seriously.

In the USA, all children go to school and learn the same standardized subjects. There are some states that have a better school system, some cities that do a better job overseeing their students. The only problem with the school system is when you have areas where the parents aren't involved with the education at all and the students don't care.

They choose to not do assignments and they choose to not learn. This can happen in areas that are very low income, where there is just not any support or encouragement for education. These cases are rare.

Some people choose to home-school, which accounts for about 4% of the students in the United States. The home-schooled children have a tendency to excel at their subjects and graduate earlier than students attending public school. Often this is because the parents can spend time on the subjects their children need more help with, and can move on more quickly from something they understand right away.

Some parents choose to home-school because they don't think the public school system is adequately addressing important aspects of education, like music and art, so they home-school to make time for private lessons. In any case, the home-schooled children have to pass tests each year that are administered by an outside party, and the children are just as knowledgeable as those attending public school. This also has nothing to do with religion, specifically, although sometimes religion is one of the reasons a family chooses to home-school.

Atheists and Christians attend the same schools and learn the same things. (Punky's answer is a perfect example...it is completely untrue, the "facts" he is presenting are absolutely false, and he threw in an empty and baseless insult. It's just this category on this question and answer forum...some people just want to throw out their opinion and insult others, rather than actually debate fact or answer a question honestly).

What you mention of grade 1 would be first graders, usually about the age of 6 upon entry. Tenth are usually 15 year olds. It goes from Kindergarten, to First through 12th, then college.

Assignment grades... typically A, B, C, D, F for fail. Some vary though, there might be a plus or minus added. My college didn't give F's, they just gave an R, for recycle, as in come back and take it again.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
