Fingerprint sensor collects your fingerprint image and converts it to fingerprint template-an array of data. The fingerprint template is like a complex pin-code. When you put your finger on the fingerprint sensor, the lock compares your fingerprint with the stored template.

The lock will unlock if your fingerprint template exits in the database. The fingerprint template can? T be converted back to fingerprint image.
