Seafloor spreading DOES NOT support Wegener's Theory of Continental Drift, it supports the Theory of Plate Tectonics. Wegener was ridiculed by his colleagues because his theory didn't have a mechanism. In all fairness to Wegener, the floor of the ocean was unknown at his time, as was the understanding of a convecting mantle Wegener supported his theory by showing that the shapes of continents on the opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean matched; and that rock formations matched when these continents were placed side by side.
His arguments didn't convince many of his contemporaries. It wasn't until World War II and the introduction of sonar that a view of the ocean floor emerged. Modern geophysics has lead to an understanding of the interior of the Earth and its convecting mantle, thus providing a mechanism for Plate Tectonics Theory.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
