How far do you think the United States can realistically get in the World Cup?

Ever since the United States organized the FIFA World Cup in 1994 , the World Cup Team United States|The United States world cup team has been constantly improving. Maybe I’m one of a minority, but I actually expected the US to continue to the elimination rounds. Now, the US will face World Cup Team Ghana|Ghana on Jun 26, at 8:30pm (South Africa Time), and I think they really do stand a chance in that match.

Not only that, I even think they stand a chance in the next match too! After Ghana, they will have to face the winner of World Cup Team Uruguay|Uruguay, vs World Cup Team Korea|Korea Republic. While that will probably prove to be a tough match, as Uruguay (with star player Luis Suárez), I think they really stand a chance there.

After that, no-one knows what is possible...

After Portugal, Spain, England, Germany and Argentina, so about 6th or 7th.

As we know now the United States defeated Algeria on a goal by Landon Donovan in the 91st minute. The game against Ghana should prove to be interesting. Ghana won 1, lost 1 and had 1 draw in the opening round.

They scored just 2 goals but only allowed two goals as well. They played in the same group as high powered Germany. It appears Ghana has a very strong defensive game.

The United States scored 4 goals and allowed 3 in their 3 games thus far. For the United States to win they have to amount some sort of offensive attack. It appears their defense will be good enough to keep Ghana held down to minimal amount of goals.

I predict the United States can and will win this game, either 1-0 or 2-1. Any victory beyond this one is purely a bonus for a team that has never advanced this far in the World Cup.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
