The "Politically Correct Guide to..." Series is the same as every writing in existence, it does have a bias. But that said, it I have found it to be a very informative and at time humorous read. I own about 9 of their books and have read them all and would recomend them to anyone.
Granted, as I have said before every publishing, every writing has a bias. So of course this series does as well. But they do a great job of not pushing their bias down your throat and subduing all others. So as far as Factual content goes, they are about a 8.5 out of 10.
As far as bias prominence goes, they are a 5 out of 10. Hope this helps.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
