How has Australia's relationship with Asia changed since Federation?

B>Australia's relationship with Asia There were originally conflicts between Australia and certain parts of Asia such as Japan and China, particularly with the influx of Chinese during the gold rushes. Now, the alliance between Australia and Asia is stronger than ever, with many immigrants from Asia living in the country. Our relationship with Asia since federation has changed significantly.

Whilst our relationships have grown stronger and weaker with changing governments, changing leaders and changing circumstances (i.e. North Korea and Indonesia), it has in all, become more significant, especially regarding trade. Since federation we have become a part of many economic and trade blocs.

Our membership with APEC and close relationships with members of ASEAN have brought about FTA (free trade agreements) and partnerships and help, in time of need. This can be seen with our peacekeeping missions (RAMSI and UNIFET) and expenses in foreign aid distriubtion.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
