Pretty good on balance. I have had the service since 2003. There have been a few rare incidents of Vonage outages, and from time to time I have performance issues with network quality.
Some have been self inflicted with not having a good router, in particular with the router being over loaded by P2P activity. But on balance, the low cost and rich features have kept me with the service. Their customer support is among the best too.
The latest adapter is also a vast improvement over the previous units I have had (this is my third). I have also set up a virtual phone number in Canada that my daughter can call locally with her cell on a buddy plan, making her calls home free of charge. And calls to Europe are incredibly cheap.
Ya gotta love it. Did I mention my monthly cost is low? .
2 I've had Vonage for a few years - I don't like it, in fact, we're switching. It's not necessarily the service, which does have its ups and downs; however, it's the customer service, it's awful, the worst. In fact, outside of my old dealings with Sprint, I've never dealt with a company with worse customer service - that would be why we are leaving.
Don't try to call for support - it's a joke. I called, from my mobile, glad I have free minutes and lots of them! A total of 42 mins to find out that I needed to try to fix it, then they admitted it (router) needed replacing and they would need to receive mine and send out a new one.
I sent mine back in, 3 weeks later, nothing. They eventually sent a new one, 3 weeks later. My husband wanted to try again, so I relented.
Now, we're switching to TimeWarner. The final straw....my bill was wrong, off by about $22. When I questioned it, they fought it, every single step of a way.
They finally refunded the overage, only to do it again, the next month. It seemed very clear that every single month I would have the same problem. GRRR!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
