How is Chatham-Kent Hydro helping its customers?

To help our customers take the first steps toward conserving electricity, we have launched a new campaign called: "Turn It Off, Turn It Down, Trade It In". You'll be seeing a lot of this in the next few months. The idea is that it is always best if you can turn off an appliance or light that uses electricity, but if that is not practical then you should turn it down, or if it's an appliance that must run all the time, like an electric water heater, freezer or refrigerator, you could trade it in for a more energy efficient model.

In the upcoming months, we will be sharing with our customers really simple tips that will help them save electricity and money. Many people want to save hydro, they just aren't aware of which appliances use the most hydro or how easy it is to significantly cut your hydro usage. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
