How is gps implemented on mobile devices such as ipad or android phones [closed]?

Well this is a HUGE topic. Apple has some GPS chipset.It has implemented a receiver based on a whole lot of GPS code based on GPS patents. Does it need internet access?

Apple has implemented AGPS, and that requires internet to get the Assistance data. Saw that you can access get the geolocation of a laptop Yes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
