I am a Vietnam Veteran. In 2000 for the first time in my life I considered voting for a Democrat, John Kerry. I really liked the guy and he was moderate enough for me, better than the namby pamby GW Bush.
But the flip flopping on issues was a big deal that year and by the time of the election I was of the opinion that you cannot trust anyone who changes their mind on such major issues on a frequent basis. So I voted for Bush. Ever since then I have been soured, and rightfully so, on flip flopping hypocrites.
I had no idea that most of the Conservative candidates these days are horrendous flip floppers, and it don't get any worse than Mitt Romeny. If it is him...I will sit it out.
NO.. If any one other than Ron Paul wins the republican nomination I will vote for someone who is not Republican or Democrat. I will swing my vote in protest of the establishment again. I do care enough to vote.
I look at what the News media says and tries to hide about each one. I favor most of Ron Paul's ideas. This country has been doing the same thing for too many years and it is not working.
To keep doing it is insanity. Ron Paul is the only one who says let's do something different to fix the problems.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
