Leukemia isn't contagious, so it doesn't spread from person to person. However, it can spread throughout the body. It is a blood disease, so it is spread by the blood cells.

Leukemia is not a disease that can be "spread". Leukemia is the cancer of the blood and or bone marrow. Leukemia is a condition in which the white blood cells in the body are scarce because they are not being produced adequately in the bone marrow thus, inhibiting ones ability to maintain an effective immune system.
