Heck, it was first proposed by republican Teddy Roosevelt almost 100 years ago. I guess those old republicans are slow and can't figure things out or read things that fast. Not that they read it.
They just want to say that to pretend like someone was trying to be hoodwinked. But they had no problem with shoving through, in a hurry, legislation that caused major destruction of civil rights like the PATRIOT act or rushing us into a war, which they admit we were not prepared for, with Iraq. It's amazing how many lies are still being pushed out there.
Like the nonsense that people were against it. When people were asked about each part of the bill, they overwhelmingly (70%) said yes. I think they will find out when they try to dismantle it piece by piece.
They use those words because they are scripted and they have the greatest impact. A catch phrase works well with the public on TV because there is only time for sound bytes, not rational discussion in the electronic forum.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
