At the federal level, it would be an intrusion of the federal government. On a state and local level, the unequal treatment under the law, barring consenting adults from entering into mutually agreeable contracts, is ludicrous. Government has no business being involved in any way in marriage.

The disposition of assets at the end of a marriage, or at the death of one of the partners, is something that can easily be handled by the legal system.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
