How is the AYP growth measure applied to subgroups that are not meeting AYP?

The growth measure is applied to each subgroup that fails to meet AYP after the ‘safe harbor’ and two-year average provisions have been applied. At this point, the growth measure is used to calculate the percent of students who are on track to meet the AYP standard. Each student who has a greater than a 50% probability of meeting the AYP standard in the future is considered to be on track.

The future probability of meeting AYP standards is based on projections made two years into the future for schools that include grades 4-8. One exception is for grade seven. Projections for this grade are made one year into the future.

This is because Ohio does not administer assessments in grade nine. Using the growth measure, a subgroup can meet AYP when the percent of students in a given subgroup are projected to meet or exceed the current AYP standard for that subject. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
