No other organization is allowed to cite its own rules as a "get out of jail free" card when a member is accused of criminal conduct. Why should the fact that an officer's actions were in compliance with department policy be an ironclad protection from legal responsibility for actions that would put anyone else behind bars? And why do the police get to write their own rules in the first place - shouldn't these codes of conduct be written up by the citizens of the community the police supposedly serve?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
