Last time I did it the journey was about an hour on the so-called 1st class express from the airport. It wasn't very comfortable and trundled through the countryside at such a leisurely pace we had the opportunity to enjoy the view of every blade of grass. When you get to Rome it stops at a remote bay platform that is so far from the Termini station concourse you feel that you've walked half the distance anyway.
Can't remember the fare, but it wasn't cheap by European standards (cheap compared to English fares though). While you're surfing the net for Italian Railways you should also consider looking up the airport coach details. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
