OK, the medication you're taking has 100mg of ibuprofen per 5ml teaspoon. You can safely take 4 teaspoons of it 3 times a day with at least 4 hours between doses. This is the dosage for anyone over the age of 12 400mg.
You can get liquid ibuprofen for 12 years+ from pharmacies, you can also get melt in the mouth tablets.
I think you should be fine. As long as you don't go beyond the recommended daily dosage.
