Use getenv to get crt env add your own and set.
I think you are on the right track. Get existing env block, append your new stuff, pass it to CreateProcess function, then destroy the new env block.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
