How many first time doctors look up and then prescribe to patients?

1 No respectable doctor would prescribe a drug without doing some research first. Doctors don't hear about drugs from online ads. Doctors hear about drugs directly from the pharmaceutical manufacturer, who puts a fair bit of effort into getting the information to the doctors well before you hear about it on online advertising.

They're given a fair bit of material, which does include some of the reasons NOT to prescribe the drug (contraindications). That information has often been slanted, and the benefits overstated. Kickbacks are illegal, and rare, but they have ways of influencing doctors to want to prescribe the drugs.

Even something as corny as a bunch of pens with the logo on it are surprisingly effective. They even get free samples. So if you think your doctor would prescribe medication without doing some research first, you need a new doctor.

But the fact that the doctor may be unduly influenced in that research by the drug company should be a little disturbing, and you really should talk with your doctor to assess the comfort level with the drug.

2 I would hope they would do what's but they are a little under pressure.

3 oops "what's right" I have been some places (not all) where drugs are given out like candy. With a title socialengineering I get what I want from my current psych. Then there are the free samples like Pam refers to.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
