Actually, mealworms aren't good for a beardie. The hard outer shell is hard to digest and pound for pound, they are just not as nutritious as other types of bugs. You can feed silkworms, phoenix worms, hornworms, crickets or one of the several types of feeder roaches.
Waxworms are not a good staple bug, either. They are very high in fat and lack in other nutritive value, and also addictive for beardies. Meaning, once they get a taste, they don't want to go back to the more nutritious worms.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
