How many of you still have your mother in your head saying, :if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all."?

Not only do I still hear my mother in my head saying that.... Now I am in my sons head saying "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. " All those things that we grew up hearing... that our parents grew up hearing are important and need to be shared with each up coming generation. There is wisdom in those old sayings.

Wow I wish everyone would listen to their inner mothers voice. Words are so hurtful and its been proven how devasting things get for children by words of others. I wish with all my heart we could all learn to zip the lips unless you have something positive to say.

I would hope everyone does. It's really not necessary to say anything. What is the saying everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
