How many people decide nominees and winners of the Oscars and what is their average age?

The Academy Awards is one of the most awaited event in Hollywood, wherein the whole world will get to know the real winners of the different awards which range from Best Picture to Best Original Screenplay. The election season for the Academy Awards usually starts during the month of November, four months before the award is handed out. During this period, movie outfits will do the best they can to have their movie nominated and eventually win the awards this coming March.
