How many people will five pounds of potato salad feed?

The serving size for potato salad is 1/2 cup. There is approximately 4 cups in every pound of potato salad. Therefore, 5 pounds of potato salad will feed around 40 people if they only eat one serving each.My suggestion is to look at how big 1/2 cup of potato salad is and who is coming to determine if 40 servings is the right amount.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
