CombiMatrix requests that all 4 sectors of a given microarray have the same probe design and layout. CustomArray 4x2K allows the user to choose 2,240 distinct probes per one array sector. Please note that control probes for normalization and background correction may need to be provided by the user.

CustomArray 4x2K is initially synthesized on the CustomArray platform with a standard set of factory-built control probes for quality control purposes. However, these controls are located as 3 blocks positioned between 2,240-spot sectors, and will be completely covered by the gasket of the sectored hybridization cap. Thus, the factory-built controls will become inaccessible for your hybridization.
