How many social bookmarking sites do you use to draw traffic to your hubs?

I don't bother with social bookmarking to draw traffic. In my experience the traffic doesn't convert into clickers or buyers so it's pretty worthless. The best way to get traffic to your hubs is to get on the first page of google for your keyphrase, ideally at number 1.

Of course the keyphrase has to receive at least a reasonable amount of searches per month for a top position to be worth it. Ie: there's not much point being at number 1 for "how do I dye my pig's hair blue" because not many people with be searching for that.

I use four digg, faceboook, blog this and tweeter! It seems to be working well enough.

I use a fairly large number of different social bookmarking sites to drive traffic. When book marking, you want to create a substantial number of both dofollow and nofollow links, and create them over a long period of time - if google sees that a 1 day old hub has gotten 50 backlinks in one day it'll smell a rat. A great free backlinking tool I use is 'Social Marker' (socialmarker.com/) which allows you to post links with ease.

Hope I've been of some help. :).

It's not just the tool... it's knowing how to use it. Quality before Quantity. I like to choose the top dozen or so sites in any category and work to obtain links on those sites.

However just because a site is popular doesn't mean it's targeted. For example if you are marketing to China, Japan, or Germany... it would be best to skip over the popular... and focus on what is being used in those specific markets. If there is a social site network that caters to a specific industry then it's more relevant than say a broad media distributor like Digg.

I use five sites to link my hubs, (Facebook, Twitter, Stumple Upon, Diggit and Blogger) I find most of my traffic comes from Twitter and Blogger so they are working well for me :).

Facebook, Xomba, She Told Me, Redgage and Digg, but I'm so new to this I haven't really seen much benefit yet. Time will tell.

I use digg, twitter and sometimes facebook. I'll try SheToldMe.

Kooday the new search engine! I buy keywords & attach them to my submitted sites. I make money when words sell & from profit share every week!

Also getting more viewers from there! Have a hub on it. As well as face book etc.

I use Digg, Twitter and Stumbleupon. No other sites as if there is quality content you get quality traffic.

It varies quite a bit honestly. But here is my sweet list:TwitterDiggRedditStumbleUponLinkSnapr.

Grow your audience organically. If you use a social bookmarking site, then use it as a community and invest time there. Susana S said it correctly.

You just don't receive the conversion you want. So, learn to write well about your passions and share from the depths of your heart and knowledge helping those that share your passion or would love to.

I use twitter, stumbleupon, digg and facebook. I guess that is enough for me though you cannot get good traffic unless you have a worth stuff to read. :).

I read the more the better. I use all the usual ones - about 16 in total.

I'm finding that with social bookmarking, I get a huge surge of traffic at first, and then it just sort of dies off. I'm new, but I'll get ~30 pageviews when I submit a site, and then a day or two later I have maybe 1, sometimes 0. What's up with that!?

18. I use them more for backlinks to help my articles rank. See a video demo here: youtube.com/watch?v=pmI1Q9XX9Pw.

I use facebook and twitter. Besides I book mark all my hubs at shetoldme.com.

Around 32 websites,use socialmarker. Combest are digg,stumbleupon,reddit,facebook,twitter,stumpedia.

I use SociaADR to get backlinks. Once you set up a bunch of sites, you get lots of links resulting in considerable traffic. See here: hubpages.com/hub/SocialADR.

I use technorati, digg, delicious and rotate. Diversity is good. Facebook, linkedin, twitter are a must.

Feeder sites to the posts are squidoo, wordpress, activerain, realtown, go articles.

I don't use social bookmarking sites for traffic or backlinks. Unless someone else from a different I. P Address is doing the linking then it normally has no search engine affect in my opinion.

The only ones I use are the ones that offer revenue sharing so that I have earning potential for my time, and I've seen a little Google money roll in from them. The ones I use are,SheToldMeInfoPirateKarmalynxXombaSquidStopI've earned revenue from them all with InfoPirate being the best.

For my social bookmarking sites bring only few visitors. I think this not work anymore!

Facebook and Twitter at the moment, although I have been getting some traffic from google. Any advice on other ways to get traffic?

Well for me, up to this point. None yet. :D.

I use Digg, StumbleUpon, Twitter, SheToldMe, Facebook and Reddit. I also post updates on Myspace from time to time. In my hubmle opinion, StumbleUpon is the best socail bookmarking sire for getting traffic.

Digg can be good too if you have some followers. Twitter isn't so good for bringing a lot of Traffic to your hubs. These are my experiences.

Just the two main (high profile) sites. Don't really visit any others (well, here too) for time and work constraints.

I use only four Stumble Upon, Diggit, Twitter, Facebook.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
