How many times in your life have you avoided being injured or worse in a driving situation?

Hundreds, if not thousands, probably. But I drove off-road in a Humvee for about 5 years, as well as German Autobahns for 25 years, so I'm probably not the norm. The trick is the clichéd "defensive driving" thing - which works like a charm - because you have to expect that mother nature and other drivers will constantly try to do bad things to you (not intentionally, of course).

:-) SK.

Around a dozen . The most amazing being when a 2 ft. Diameter, 15 ft.Metal pole pierced through the left front of the car and came out the back. I was driving and it took out the drivers seat.

A half inch up or to either side, well...walked away without a scratch. The police were so surprised I survived they gave me a ride home.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
