How many times should I feed my german shepherd akita puppy?

If it's a puppy around 8 weeks old, it should be fed 3-4 times per day. At 12 weeks, 3 times daily is fine, and then twice daily around 6 months old and for the rest of it's life. A puppy or dog usually poops the same number of times as the number of meals it eats, with perhaps an extra one.

The amount will also depend on what type of food he's eating, whether it be a lower quality food or a high quality grain free food.
