In Canada, the creation of new forests does not occur on a large scale—around 9,000 hectares of afforestation occurs each year. This relatively small area results in the removal from the atmosphere of around 1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide each year, and this will slowly increase over time as new trees grow. Deforestation has a bigger impact, but this is still quite small on a global scale.
The area deforested annually in Canada has fallen from 70,000 hectares in 1990 to 56,000 hectares in 2005. The emissions in 2005 were 21 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalents, or CO2e, down from 29 million tonnes in 1990. Conversion of forest for agricultural purposes accounted for over half of the deforested area; other major causes were urban expansion, industrial development, and resource extraction.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
