How much money would you want to paid to beat and whip investment bankers and hedge fund managers?

It looks like conservatives believe that money grow on the trees that investment bankers plant. They also think that teaching kids is not a job, so teacher shouldn’t make more than Wal-Mart clerk. I wonder if we take all money out from lower and middle classes, wouldn’t that investment tree get dry?

All income is taxed as such, whether bonus, or ordinary Income, so Uncle Sam, who gets this TAX money, to help to offset his terrible spending problems! Your "Nations true villains - teachers, police officers, and firefighters, and .. I might add the Union Administrators, who insist on a living wage, ... but have to buy off our Politicians with Campaign Funds, which I might add goes 90+% to the Democrats, so they can get a so to the called "Living Wage" but when pension and health benefits + salaries reach a point of bankrupt to the taxpayers, (who pay the bills) ...something must change! Bonus is usually paid for exceptional results, in Private Industry that means profits.

You make us money we pay you a bonus! Now, lets take teachers, we should pay teachers more money, who do a exceptional job, students performance, would be the motive and set goals, measurable, competitive with others, who are in similar teaching conditions. Reward performance, aka results.

But not because they join a union, or have been on the job the longest, (Seniority pay increases. Etc). Police and Fire are a bit different, hard to measure, their performance, life threatening vs desk, vs our military who are in "Harms Way" every day also!

I don't have an answer there, but saving up sick days, vacations, and other benefits, to make their RETIREMENT Basis Income Year, extra high, which makes their pensions huge (BASED ON THAT ONE YEAR) .. for rest of their life, is not fair to the taxpayers, IMO! Some CHANGES must be made, also Unions should not be able to buy the Democrat Politicians to set and make favorable decisions on their Union controlled BENEFIT BARGAINING TABLES!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
