How much vegetable oil is equal to 1 stick of butter when baking a cake?

According to the Cooks Thesaurus: 1 pound of solid fat (butter) = 2 cups of oil Therefore if 4 sticks of butter = 1 pound then you would divide the 2/4 and use 1/2 cup oil. But from my own experience it is better to use butter when the recipe calls for it because substituting oil will make the batter greasy/ oily and "heavy.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
