How Old Should One Be To Start Inheriting His Parents’ Property? Should One Wait For Them To Die?

When ever I come into a nice sum of money. I bless my children with a monetary gift righ away. I want to see them enjoy what God has provided me to bless them with now on Earth.

They will also have an inheritance when I leave this Earth. Which I pray to God be a long time from now.

This is a pretty offensive question, but I'm assuming it was written by someone who doesn't particularly love his/her parents the way most people love theirs. When you love your parents the way children usually love their parents, you aren't thinking about what you get from them. You're thinking about what you can give to them or do for them - because that's what real love is all about.

For people who love parents the way most love their own, there's no way they can even allow themselves to think in terms of their parents' stuff and of them dying, because it's just unthinkable. So, if a son or daughter doesn't love their parents the way most people love their own, it might suggest that there will be no inheritance because the relationship between the parents and their child is not a good one. I had an elderly friend who knew her kids and grandchildren were "waiting" for their "inheritance", so she donated a bunch of her money to things like animal causes and made sure nobody but two very close and caring family members got any of her money.

There is no "should" when it comes to whether someone eventually inherits anything from his parents or anyone else. I'd suggest grown children get their minds of what is not theirs and what they aren't necessarily entitled to and, instead, figure a way to earn their own money and belongings. This is good advice because the world is full of parents who make good and sure their kids don't inherit anything at all.

Your parents' property is theirs to do with as they will. Just because they are your parents does not guarantee that you will be the recipient of all their worldly goods. Personally, I would be totally offended if one of my children were to ask me for any part of their inheritance before I died.

Parents may (and do) make gifts before their passing to their children; but, this should be done only if the parent wishes to. Remember, what you consider to be your inheritance is what your parents are using to maintain their current lifestyle. Losing any part of it before their passing could reduce their lifestyle. An inheritance is supposed to be given to those we love and WANT to have our possessions after we are gone.

Unless your parents die without a will, there is no guarantee you will inherit.

There are different laws and rules concerning this matter at different geographical areas and it depends upon the laws regarding this concern in your area. You better ask from a real estate agent or real estate expert at your location. What the most I can do for the time being is to refer you to a place bayut.com/community/ where you can ask this question and get the answer in detail from real estate experts over there.

I may seem somewhat of a odd ball but if I was a parent and I had alot and I struggled to get it why would I let my own child suffer if they need something right away ,i may not give them all of thier inherntence right away but some I feel would give them a boost in life ,if I had it like that ,how do you know your child won't die before you while trying to gain thier own wealth , at least give your child a little to see what and how they handel that, if not in a good way ,well make them wait untill you die ,some people need to prove they can handel all that thier parents have busted thier butts for and earned.
