If so, chances are you are overeating simply because you are not giving time to the sensor in the brain to get the signal that you are already satisfied (Your brain needs at least 20 minutes to get the signal that you are satisfied. Explain to your family what you are trying to do (Avoid overeating) and ask them for help: To remind you to drink water, to tell you when you are eating too fast, taking big bites etc. (You cannot delegate this responsibility but they may be willing to help, especially if the help is mutual. 2Look at the clock on the wall and relax before you start eating, look at your plate, monitor the clock constantly; if you are still eating full speed after 20 minutes chances are you will overeat.
If you detect you are overeating, slow down (Or stop) at the table; it is too late to do it at the scale. 3Drink water before, during and after your meal, eat slowly; if you already have the sensation of fullness (In your stomach) but you are still hungry means you will probably overeat. Do not confuse being full with being satisfied, if you eat very fast, your stomach can get bloated but you will still be hungry.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
