Konjam yosichhi parungoo enakku tamiz katthikiradhukku anji varsham , kannadakaagha innoru anji varsham pattave illai. ,ippu kooda enakku thamiz fluentaagha varaadu you will see more and more telugu guys even now in pondi bazaar (and other T nagar areas , kodambakkam , vadapazani etc ) settled in chennai for years toghether ,but still speak tamiz with telugu slang ( you can easily make out) and similar is the case with malayalee friends who were born and brought up in a different state but speak that state's language with malayalam accent ( oottoo = auto) dear buzzzbe : yes malayalam is a very sweet language and I am fond of/ interested in learning , but unfortunately could not find time and guidence.
The question is not how much time it'll take, but how well you want to be able to speak, listen, read, write. You can learn Telugu POORLY in 30 days, but can't learn it well that quickly.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
