You can't and shouldn't. It's not possible to inject a request scoped value as managed property in a session scoped bean. Entities should not be treated as managed beans.

Rather pass it as method argument instead: With in Claim managed bean: public void doAction(Loss loss) { // ... }.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
