You don't have to uninstall Linux. When you install an OS it will completely wipe your hard drive. If your sound card is supported then yes Windows will have a driver for it.

You will have to reinstall all your software once you have Windows setup.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
