MOTIONS! As a cheerleading coach that is one big thing I look for. Your motions must be tight.
I have had amazing tumblers try out for my squads, but they make my lower squads due to their motions and overall presence. When you try out be tight and squeeze your body through everything you do. (Jumps, motions, tumbling..!) Also, stay positive throughout the whole tryout process.
If you mess up don't make a big deal about it, and NEVER say anything negative about anything, you never know when a coach is listening. (us coaches also learn the art of lip reading! More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
