Puerto Ricans eat oranges in a very interesting way, street vendors use a lathe like device that removes the entire skin in a single long piece, then the top 1/2 in or so is lopped off. You take the orange and squeeze as much juice and pulp as you can squeeze out of it, and then you can turn it inside out to eat the remaining pulp. Another interesting tidbit, Puerto Rico is the only Spanish speaking country that I am aware of, that calls the orange "china" instead of "Naranja".
Presumably because this was where they first were imported from.
Roll the orange int your hands to separate the flesh from the peel. Now look for the dimple in the orange. Bite halfway through it on the top and the bottom.
Now, pull the tab you have created. The quick of the orange will be in the center. Insert your thumb between the flesh and peel and rotate-this will begin to separate the peel and if you do this slowly you'll end up with a single long ribbon of orange peel.
I just dig my fingers into the skin and start ripping. Don't think I've ever peeled an orange with knife actually.
To peel an orange without a knife, use yer teeth.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
