Let me have" implies that you have a job, a couple thousand dollars saved up, and the means to physically and financially care for this dog without their help. So do you? They are under no obligation to go out and buy an expensive, time consuming animal if they don't want to.

Period. If you asked and they aren't certain then it doesn't hurt to ask them what their concerns are and what YOU can do to prove to them that you're ready for this responsibility. Beyond that there isn't much you can do - telling them crap like "i'll walk the dog every day" or "i'll take care of it by myself" won't do jack squat because why on earth should they BELIEVE you?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
