How to read tarot cards?

Learning to read Tarot cards accurately took me about six months of study and memorization and then about a year of practice. You will come to respect the cards for all the symbolic and spiritual meanings they carry, and to respect their advice. To start, get a Tarot deck.

The most common is called the Rider-Waite deck, and it is commonly found at New Age supply stores and bookstores and comes in all sizes from pocket size to very large. Get a size you can shuffle. Then get two Tarot books, one a reference book, and one a workbook.

Definitely get two because each card meaning will differ slightly according to the author; this is an education in the "bandwidth" of interpretation. In the workbook, study and work through the exercises. This is not easy.It requires memorization, and then learning to read card spreads requires skill and intuition and knowledge of all the symbols, and an understanding of how to help those who come to the Tarot for guidance or answers.

There are also many kinds of card spreads although the classic is probably the ten-card Celtic Cross.

There are many different decks. Personally my own philosophy about Tarot and the way I use it is that the future is a broken mirror. You can see many different versions of an image in a broken mirror and finding the one that will be the path that the future takes is more of seeing what the general shared image is displayed.

Unfortunately, since there is an infinite number of futures choosing the most common future is not always going to work.

In Tarot, it is more of a question. This is me now, these are the things that may affect me, this is the current likely turnout. The major Arcana of Tarot no matter what kind of deck begins with the 0 card generally known as the Fool.

This fool represents us as a naive and innocent person doing things that were thought impossible because we knew no better, but it also represents ignorance and foolishness. Tarot cards always represent a duality with a positive virtue and a negative virtue.

Personally I like the Book of Thoth deck as it tells you what each major arcana card represents instead of having to memorize what they mean.

Since the 0 card is the fool and this represents you the next card is the first life lesson earned and learned. Each major arcana card represents things from our life that affect us and you can look up online somewhere the actual story that they represent.

I read tarot more as a meditative tool, I lay out my cards and when I look at them I observe and discern their meaning for me at that moment in time and occasionally object to the single turnout card's meaning. Objection usually doesn't hold out long though. The very act of a reading changes your future.

What I know about tarot cards is that it's all about fiction, not true as revealed by no other than Chris Angel in one of his TV shows that exposed tricks and fraud concerning the money making scheme of tarot cards readers.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
