How to replace bulbs Ford Escape dash This is lit by a bulb in the dash panel. To replace it, you must remove the instrument cluster. I don't know what the bulb type/size is, but you'll find that when you remove it.
Here's how to remove it: First loosen and lower the tilt thing for the steering wheel column so the column is down as far down as you can get it. Then, lower the shift lever to...?...runs out to cold garage to check...1...the lowest range. Remove the two screws in the dark panel or cowl above the cluster, then remove that finish panel.
Now, there are 4 screws to remove the cluster (!) itself. Two are at the outside top corners (yeah, I know it's round there, but look...you'll find them. The other two are below the cluster (imagine!) with one just to the right edge of the speedo (no, not your speedo underwear...the trucks speedometer!
) and the other to the left edge of the tach. Again, you'll see if you look that these are mounting screws WARNING DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL STUFF BEHIND THE CLUSTER!WARNING...BLINKING TEXT HERE It requires special equipment to reconfigure it to match the vehicle. It's electronic...like everything else these days, eh? Ok...find the right (correct) bulb and replace it...I have no idea what the bulb type or brand is...hopefully you'll find one at your local independent parts store that is the same.
Ford wants you to have the dealer replace it and that would be pretty expesive for a silly light bulb...I'd guess you could buy the bulb there if you couldn't find it else where Ok...then put it back together....after you check to see the darn thing works...eh? Good writeup - but have no fear unplugging the panel, it is not affected at all by removal as inputs come from elsewhere - save your knuckles this way.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
