How to solve log x=50 without calculator?

This number is a never-ending decimal. You cannot solve this one without a calculator...

Before calculators were invented, mathematicians carried books with logs of every number to six decimals. The only reason anyone ever actually calculated a log was to publish the book.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
